Solar PV Module Sales Specialist / Manager

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Our client, is a leading global manufacturer in the solar and renewable energy sector, building out its Solar Module business team in Thailand. This is a key commercial hire responsible for driving solar PV module sales across the Thai market through both direct business-to-business (B2B) sales and channel partner development. The successful candidate will bring an established local network and a proven track record of selling solar modules to distributors, energy groups, and commercial & industrial (C&I) EPC partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive sales of solar PV modules across the Thai market, achieving agreed revenue and volume targets.
- Develop and manage direct B2B sales relationships with major energy groups and C&I EPC project partners.
- Build, expand, and manage channel distribution networks, including top-tier distributors and resellers.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, project pipelines, and strategic accounts within the utility, commercial, and industrial solar segments.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contracts in line with company strategy and margin objectives.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, market intelligence, and competitor analysis.
- Represent the company at industry events and with key stakeholders to strengthen brand presence.
- Collaborate with internal technical, logistics, and product teams to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- Proven sales experience in the solar PV module market (or closely related renewable energy / electrical products).
- An established local network across top-tier channel distributors, large energy groups, and C&I EPC project partners in Thailand.
- Demonstrated success in both direct B2B sales and channel / distribution development.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Professional working proficiency in Thai and English.
NOTE: Candidates whose experience is limited to consumer / retail (C-end) sales are unlikely to be a strong fit, as this role is focused on B2B and channel (B-end) sales.
PREFERRED / ADVANTAGEOUS
- Experience selling to utility-scale or large C&I solar projects.
- Understanding of solar module technology, specifications, and the broader PV value chain.
- Existing relationships with Tier-1 EPC contractors and developers in the region.
