Our client is a leading international health and wellness operator with a strong and growing footprint in Thailand. With an established multi-site network and ambitious expansion plans over the next three years, the business is entering a new phase of structured growth and financial transformation.

This role reports directly to the Thailand CEO, with a dotted reporting line to the Group CFO based overseas.


The Opportunity

This is a strategic finance leadership role responsible for driving financial performance, strengthening governance, and supporting the continued expansion of a multi-branch retail business.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner to the CEO, providing commercial insight, financial discipline, and scalable financial infrastructure to support long-term growth.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Own and lead the overall financial strategy for the Thailand business
  • Drive budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning
  • Deliver clear KPI reporting and performance insights to leadership
  • Partner closely with the CEO on strategic and operational decisions

Capital & Cost Management (Multi-Site Portfolio)

  • Lead CAPEX planning and governance for new site openings and refurbishments
  • Drive OPEX optimisation and cost discipline across the network
  • Oversee unit economics and club-level profitability

Cash Flow & Working Capital

  • Manage cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning
  • Optimise working capital and funding requirements
  • Provide timely reporting and financial visibility to Group

Governance & Financial Control

  • Establish and strengthen internal controls and financial policies
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and Group reporting standards
  • Manage audits, tax matters, and regulatory obligations

Financial Systems & Infrastructure

  • Lead ERP implementation and finance process optimisation
  • Strengthen accrual accounting, reporting automation, and scalable controls
  • Ensure integration between finance and operational systems

Investment & Expansion Analysis

  • Lead financial evaluation of new site investments and expansion initiatives
  • Conduct ROI, IRR, payback, and feasibility modelling
  • Prepare board-level investment papers and financial presentations

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Lead and develop the Finance and Accounting teams
  • Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales, HR, and Marketing
  • Communicate financial insights clearly to both local and Group stakeholders


Candidate Profile

Qualifications

  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification preferred
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience

  • 10–15 years of progressive finance leadership experience
  • Proven experience as CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leader
  • Strong background in retail, consumer, or multi-site operating environments
  • Experience in financial modelling, investment analysis, and capital planning
  • Exposure to ERP implementation and finance transformation initiatives
  • Strong English communication skills
